On September 8th I will be taking part in the Walk of Hope in Calgary at North Glenmore Park in support of Ovarian Cancer.

If anyone would like to join us, we would absolutely love to have you walk with us! My daughter started a team named "Walking for Denna". It is free to come walk with us (but please register on the link as they like to track attendance at the walk).

Last year our team raised $4350 and I would love to surpass that goal this year. Over the past year we have witnessed first hand how underfunded, under supported and the lack of awareness that is put towards Ovarian cancer. With little to no screening, most women are diagnosed in stages 3 or 4. I am thrilled that I am healthy and able to walk this year. Last year the team walked for me, this year we are walking together!!  Without organizations like this, women like myself wouldn’t receive the support they need to fight or live with ovarian cancer.
