This is our first year under the banner: Teal We Beat Ovarian C.

It won`t be our last.

Here`s why:

*Ovarian Cancer is one of the least funded of all cancers. 

*Approximately 3100 will be newly diagnosed this year.

*It is the most fatal women`s cancer. Over half will not make it past 5 years.

*There is no effective screening test.

And - Above all, we lost a dear friend to this cancer last year.

That made it personal to see our brave `Teal Sister` face the diagnosis and weather the treatments.   

Her superpower was hope, not just for herself but for all the women who need earlier diagnostic screening, improved and kinder treatments, and the chance for more time. 

So - Teal We Beat Ovarian C - we`ll keep walking . . .
