New York City!!
Today, thousands of Canadian women are fighting ovarian cancer.
I was one of the lucky ones. I had a rare, slow growing ovarian cancer that we caught at stage 1. Most other women don't discover it until stage 3 or stage 4 because the symptoms are so difficult to recognize.
I was in the middle of training for the 2018 Boston Marathon when ovarian cancer sidelined me. I roared back and requalified, and finally ran the Boston Marathon in 2021. Then I ran the Chicago Marathon in 2022.
So this year, let's raise some money for Ovarian Cancer Canada and celebrate the fact that I'll be running my 3rd World Major Marathon in New York City on November 3rd.
Thank you for donating to a future without ovarian cancer!
