Welcome to My Personal Page
Having gone through my own personal battle with ovarian cancer in 2019, this is a cause that is near and dear to my heart. I believe that I was one of the lucky ones!
Ovarian cancer is often a silent killer, and symptoms are often absent until its too late. It's so important to fund research into earlier detection methods and treatment options that have better success rates, so that more women can seek treatment sooner and live longer lives with their families and friends.
My Mother-in Law also battled ovarian cancer and beat the odds for 10 years. So for my little family, our extended family and all of the women that I know that have dealt or are dealing with ovarian cancer, let's go for a walk , have some laughs, and make some money for a very worthwhile cause.
Virtual hugs,
The Adams Family
Today, thousands of Canadian women are living with ovarian cancer and another 2,800 will be diagnosed this year.
Each of these women is central to a family. Every one of these women has people who love her. Just being there to support and honour her means everything. That’s why I’m participating with thousands of others at the Ovarian Cancer Canada Walk of Hope.
Every dollar I raise supports Ovarian Cancer Canada, the only national charity that champions the health and well-being of women with ovarian cancer and others at risk of this disease. Funds will be used to fund vital research, spur advocacy efforts, and provide support so that we can help women with, or at risk of, ovarian cancer live fuller, better, longer lives.
Please provide your support by giving generously. Together we can make a difference!
