RSVP for Speaker Series | Exploring survivorship: Life after a diagnosis

The Ovarian Cancer Canada Speaker Series features experts from across the country discussing a wide range of topics for people living with ovarian cancer and their families and friends.

Join us on Wednesday, October 21 from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. ET for the first of three Survivorship Speaker Series "Exploring survivorship: Life after a diagnosis".

When treatment ends, the journey doesn't. Survivorship can bring a mix of emotions, new challenges, and unanswered questions. Join us as we explore what survivorship can look like after a gynecologic cancer diagnosis. Through expert insights and lived experience, we'll discuss navigating uncertainty, coping with fear of recurrence, and practical tips to support your well-being—so you can feel more confident, connected, and prepared for life beyond treatment.

Our expert panel includes:

  • Dr. Alison Ross, PhD, Ovarian Cancer Canada's Director Knowledge Mobilization
  • Laura Foran, Social Worker and Program Manager for the CALM National Program
  • Megan George, PhD candidate at the University of Toronto’s Institute of Medical Science and the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre

They’ll provide clear explanations, answer your questions, and share practical insights to help you feel more informed, supported, and empowered as you navigate a cancer survivorship experience.
